CaYPT 2025 Registration

Welcome to the 9th annual CaYPT 2025! It is a unique experience for students passionate about physics and is a great opportunity for them to further their knowledge in this phenomenal field.

CaYPT Management System

We are continuing to use the CaYPT Management System (CaYPTMS). If you already have a CaYPTMS account, you do not need to make a new account. Simply log into and complete the registration process like previous years. If you are new to CaYPT, please follow the instructions below to make a new account.

Tournament Location

CaYPT 2025 will be entirely online via Zoom.

Tournament Date

Day 1: February 22nd, 2025

Day 2: March 1st, 2025

All registered teams are expected to participate in both days of the competition

Tournament Schedule and Format

Tournament schedule will be available at a later date.

Make sure to read through the CaYPT Rules and Regulations.

Registration Fee, Meals and Deadline

There is a registration fee of $395 CAD per team. This allows the CaYPT committee to provide juror compensations and covers the costs of maintaining the necessary information infrastructures.

The tentative deadline for the registration is Feb 11th, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST.

The registration fee can be paid through an e-transfer to info@stemfellowship.org. When sending the e-transfer, please make sure to specify the purpose (CaYPT 2025), your school and/or team name in the notes.

In addition, please email a proof of payment complete with the purpose, date and amount to caypt@stemfellowship.org.

Team Withdraw

If a registered team wishes to withdraw from the competition, the registration fee will be refunded in full before Feb 11th, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. After this time, there will be no refunds.

If a team fails to show up to the competition, all their members will lose eligibility to participate in the Canadian National Team Selection for IYPT 2025. If the team wishes to withdraw from CaYPT 2025, please email caypt@stemfellowship.org.
